This 2 day programme will introduce you to the principles and practice of coaching. Not only will you learn how to use an effective four stage model that will allow you to begin coaching right away, you will also discover what kind of coaching is right for you.

Course Objectives

What's special about this course? As the market has matured and coaching has become embedded in everyday language and business life, we noticed the gap has widened between people who have been exposed to coaching (e.g. been coached, worked in a coaching manner or done an NLP course) and those with no prior experience of coaching.

With this programme we want to provide you with the appropriate door into executive coaching…and to do all possible to ensure you are learning alongside similarly experienced coaches.

Coaching is the most effective approach for a variety of frequent business issues, for example: alignment of goals between individuals, teams and organisation; career transition; overcoming poor or ineffective relationships with colleagues; effective action planning.

Entry Requirements

We encourage you to attend our Introduction Open Event. There is no charge for this event.


The Coaching Skills Certificate gives 12 hours of the 60 needed to apply for ICF accreditation at ACC level. When combined with the Practitioner Diploma this provides 72 Accredited Coach Specific Training Hours.

Course Faculty

Peep Aaviksoo

Peep Aaviksoo

Peep has twenty years of experience managing stock listed companies in Estonia and sitting in the supervisory boards of different public and state owned companies. He has also served as Vice Mayor of Tallinn.

He has graduated from Tartu University as a basketball coach, got MBA in Estonian Business School and passed Senior Executive Program in London Business School.

Today he is managing the Executive Training Center of Estonian Business School that is a license holder of AoEC in Estonia. He has also done mentoring for Enterprise Estonia.

Peep is a graduate of the AoEC Practitioner Diploma programme and is faculty on the AoEC's Coaching Skills Certificate and Practitioner Diploma programmes. Peep is an Associate Certified Coach with the ICF.

Riina Varts

Riina Varts

Riina has been dealing with people management issues, managing people, consulting and developing managers for nearly two decades. She’s worked as an assistant to foreign and prime ministers, managed HR functions in Hansabank and in Eesti Energia. She has experience in mergers and acquisitions, re-branding, performance- and talent management, leadership development programmes.

She is a member of Estonian Association for Personnel Development, having been closely connected to its management board for 6 years. Since 2005 she has her own consultancy business.

She has delivered a range of training programmes both at home and abroad. Riina is a graduate of the AoEC Practitioner Diploma programme and is faculty on the AoEC's Coaching Skills Certificate and Practitioner Diploma programmes.
